How to Clear Your Cache on PC
Apr 01, 2019What is cache (pronounced as cash)? It’s simply temporary storage of information by sites, browsers and applications. This makes the websites or browsers you’ve previously visited load faster since data is available in the local folder, in this case, the browser. The data can be scripts, images or any other type of media.
But there’s the downside of caching where you’re more vulnerable to hacking and possible breach of privacy from users of the PC. Clearing cache means ‘emptying the storage’ thus helps protects your privacy and also saves storage space. Keep in mind that you’ll have the option to delete saved passwords and information you might need so you must clear the cache with moderation.
